1. Who we are

This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit our website or contact us, why we process it, and the rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Greek Law 4624/2019.
2. What we process and why
Correspondence. When you email us, we process your name, email address and the content of your message in order to reply and, where relevant, prepare a proposal. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract) and Article 6(1)(f) (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries). We keep correspondence for up to 24 months after our last exchange, or longer where a contract or tax law requires it.
Technical data. When you visit the site, our hosting provider processes your IP address, browser type and the pages requested in order to deliver the pages securely and protect against abuse. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f). These logs are kept for a short period by the provider in line with its own policy.
Cookies and similar technologies. Analytics and marketing cookies are placed only after you agree in our consent banner. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 4(5) of Law 3471/2006. You can withdraw consent at any time; details are in our Cookie Policy.
3. Who receives your data
We use carefully selected service providers acting on our instructions as processors: Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting and content delivery), Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd (email for info@polita.gr), and, only with your consent, Google Ireland Ltd (Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads) and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd (Meta Pixel). We do not sell personal data.
Some providers may transfer data to the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, where needed, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
4. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. To exercise a right, email info@polita.gr. We answer within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Kifissias 1-3, 115 23 Athens, Greece).
5. Other information
We do not take automated decisions about you. Our website is not directed at children; under Greek law a child may consent to online services from the age of 15.
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the current version.
